Ella discovered her passion for skating at her sixth birthday party at the Oakland Ice Center. Lessons soon turned into training twice a day. Transitioning to online schooling in high school allowed Ella to pursue advanced training in Utah. This experience shaped her into a dedicated scholar-athlete who blends academic goals with athletic achievement. Looking forward, she aims to bring the same drive to higher education, focusing on academic excellence, leadership, and continued athletic growth.

Over the past decade, Ella has established herself as a distinguished figure skater at the highest level of her sport. A double Gold Medalist in Singles and Skating Skills, she is an elite athlete currently competing in Singles at the Senior Level. Her technical repertoire includes all triple jumps as well as level 4 spins and step sequences. Alongside her on-ice career, Ella is equally dedicated to her studies and is deeply committed to community service.

Her competitive journey started at the Basic 4 level at her home rink in Oakland. Through years of rigorous training and dedication, Ella has become a top-ranked athlete in her region, qualifying for Sectionals consecutively since the Juvenile level. Her stellar performances earned her the opportunity to compete at the invite-only Junior Team Cup, where top U.S. skaters contend for Junior Grand Prix assignments. Ella also proudly represented the United States at the King's Cup International Competition.

Ella is honored to have been invited by the Skating Club of Jackson Hole, featured in their Holiday Show and Spring Exhibition. She also brings her solo program to corporate events, having performed for companies like Delta Connect and VAST Data. By blending artistry and athleticism, she looks forward to connecting with a broader audience.

As a certified U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) coach, Ella brings a strong competitive background to the ice. She began her coaching journey in the Learn to Skate program, sharing her knowledge and mastery of technical elements with aspiring skaters. This experience equips Ella to mentor and guide students at every developmental stage, from learning the basics to perfecting more complex competitive skills.

Committed to leadership and mentorship, Ella actively gives back through her sport and personal initiative. As a competitor, performer, and instructor, she shares her passion for figure skating to help enrich and expand the local skating community. Beyond the rink, she spearheads fundraising efforts for charitable organizations close to her heart, including Tiny Tim's Foundation for Kids. Ella also dedicates time to volunteering with the Best Friends Animal Society and the local public library.
